Call for Papers for CEDLAW’s Research Paper Series

The Center is accepting contributions for its Research Paper Series. The subject matter may be on any theoretical or applied aspect of the Center’s research fields (democracy and governance, EU and international law, EU politics and human rights, the US political and legal system, and Greek politics and law), or on any subject related to the two research projects currently hosted by the Center: “Observatory of Government Restrictive Measures for the COVID-19 pandemic” (GovRM-COVID19) and “Politics and the Justice System of the United States of America” (USPOLJUST).

Research papers involve a lighter review process compared to journal or edited volume publications. They must be between 3.000 and 7.000 words (references, tables, etc., included), must follow the American Political Science Association’s citation style, and may be written in either English or Greek.

If interested, please send an abstract (max. 200 words), or a complete first draft of the proposed paper, for consideration, along with a brief CV (max. 2 pages), at kediduom@gmail.com. Initial response for acceptance/rejection is within 5 days from receipt of the proposal, and if accepted, review comments are sent within 2 weeks from the receipt of the complete manuscript.

For any questions, please contact Dr. Alexandros Kyriakidis, Head of Operations and Research of the Center, at a.kyriakidis@uom.edu.gr.
